Dolphins Swim Club Award Ceremony Celebrates 2019 Successes
54 Hall of Fame qualifiers from Burlington competed with great success at their first swim meet after the summer break. Out of 54 qualifiers, 40 athletes competed in the Hall of Fame finals, and earned 41 medals (19 gold). Most notably, 11 year old Vanessa Xia set a club record with her performance in the 12 and under girls 50 butterfly. Vanessa's time was 31.46, which beat the previous record of Maggie Burns from 2008. Vanessa went on to earn 4 gold medals and 2 silver medals, setting all new personal best times.
